Selling Online – Terms and Conditions

Online Seller Contract

Seller Terms and Conditions

To ensure that sellers are treated with respect and feel confident about Bridal Stories as a safe website, our seller contract sets out the behavior we expect from all sellers.

When using our website as a seller, you are required to agree and act in accordance with the terms below that describe the expectations about this behavior.

Accuracy of information

Bridal Stories is not responsible for any of the content of individuals' ads. The seller is the only responsible for the detail and accuracy of the description and condition of the items, including any disputes between buyers and sellers.

The ad page is where buyers get most information about a dress.

The information in the ad helps buyers decide what to buy and know what to expect when they receive the item.

It's important to make sure that the ad is only used to describe the actual item for sale and in a professional manner.

Mandatory:

– Specify the state of conservation of the item being sold;

– Provide as much detail and history of the item as possible;

– Explain any defects in the item – this avoids problems, withdrawals and buyer dissatisfaction;

– Each ad can only advertise a single item.

Not allowed:

   – Advertise the item in a misleading way, for example by inserting the brand "Pronovias" and having another brand or dress in the description like "Pronovias inspiration";

– The dress cannot be exchanged for another one, even if the original is no longer available or has not been sold;

– Rent dresses;

– Advertise the wrong location;

– Include contact details such as addresses, phone numbers, websites and e-mails;

– Include offensive language in the form of comments or opinions or other details unrelated to the item.

In case the buyer is in doubt about the purchase and an additional verification and certification service is required, you can purchase our servicePersonal Shopper" section.

Images

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Photos are one of the most important parts of an ad. Images allow buyers to see details that cannot be described and allow them to build expectations about their purchase. Including clear and detailed photos will help keep buyers satisfied by allowing them to see exactly what they will receive.

Mandatory:

– At least 3 photos per ad;

– All photos must be of the same item;

– Uploading sharp, high-quality photos;

– Including photos of the flaws such as tears, unstitched parts, stains, missing parts, etc.

Not allowed:

– Unauthorized copyrighted photos, for example, catalog photos;

– Photos with frames, emoticons, letters, phrases or other decorative or artistic elements;

– Photos other than of the item for sale;

– Photo collages or montages of several photos in a single image;

– Photos with watermarks (stamp).

For more information read the "Communication" section.

Price

We recommend that the price of the item you are selling is competitive and fair.

The price should be the price of the dress alone without the cost of modifications.

Remember that the price of your dress should have the original price into account but above all it should consider its conservation status, finishings, style and age. A competitive price will help you sell faster.

Don't know what should be the price? Use our simulator.

Mandatory:

– Provide the original purchase price without any modifications.

Not allowed:

– Provide an inflated or untrue price to increase the offered discount;

– Provide an original brand price for a replica;

– Increase the price after publication.

Communication

You are the seller so you should provide all the information and be respectful in all your communication.

Provide excellent service and exceed expectations – this will help you sell faster.

Mandatory:

– Promptly respond to any questions during the sale as well as after the purchase of the dress;

– Treat each potential buyer professionally at all times;

– Be sensitive to any of the buyer's worries or problems;

– Maintain an average response time of 72 hours.

Not allowed:

– Do not communicate outside the Bridal Stories chat (apart from personal meetings);

– Promote a company or service;

– Ask buyers for measures for dresses made to order;

– Offensive language;

– Send inappropriate images, including nudity or other general content unrelated to the ad.

Payment of your online purchase

The Bridal Stories platform is a global site that aims to promote local sales by promoting face-to-face business.

Bridal Stories as a global platform does not (yet) have an integrated payment method on its website to allow payment for the item directly to the seller. The payment method must be agreed between buyer and seller.

Bridal Stories is not responsible for any of the payment methods if problems arise.

STOP! If you don't know how to use a payment method, don't use it, and you'll avoid mistakes or scams.

Consult our "Safety" section to learn more about safety tips when selling or buying online on the platform.

Bridal Stories recommends in-person selling.

To ensure your safety, take someone with you if you're meeting someone, or ask for personal identification first, if you're inviting someone to your home.

Alternatively, if remotely, use collection payment method, through post office or other means that allow it.

There are also secure remote payment methods such as PayPal, bank transfer and MBWay.

We do not promote or advise users to rent items.
There is no that the item will be returned in the same condition. Signs of makeup, tanning lotion, perfume, deodorant, use and wear are impossible to predict and often impossible to repair or clean. These are just some of the things that can happen to such a valuable item.

Total payment of the item may include:

– the purchase price of the item;

– a shipping fee to ship for your location;

– a payment method transaction fee.

Mandatory:

– The payment method must be agreed between buyer and seller.

– Verify all data from your seller when buying online;

– Payment must be made in a single transaction;

– Pay the item and shipping in one transaction only;

– Businesses done in person are final;

– We advise you to pay in cash when purchasing in-person. This avoids problems such as delays, fees and disputes.

Not allowed:

– Ask for booking fees, installments or partial payments;

– Rent or lend the dress;

– Change your mind after payment has been made.

Shipping

A buyer has contacted you, you've discussed various issues, the buyer has chosen your dress and now you want to sell and ship your item. After an online sale of individuals' items, you will need to ship the items.

Shipping fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are paid in addition to the final sale price of the item.

Bridal Stories recommends buying in-person or, alternatively, if remotely, sending it by post with a tracking code and insurance or other means that allows it.

Bridal Stories is not responsible for any of the shipping methods if problems arise.

Don't ship your item before receiving the money.

Don't agree to sending the item by strangers or a company hired by the buyer. Always send the item yourself.

For more information and conditions on how to send and package your item, read our section "Shipping“.

Disputes and returns

The Bridal Stories platform is a global website that aims to promote local sales by promoting face-to-face business. Although Bridal Stories promotes and takes all necessary steps to maintain user safety, it cannot guarantee the purchase of your dress online.

Mandatory:

– Send the item within 5 working days right after purchase;

– Ask for the item to be verified as soon as it arrives;

– Contact the buyer if there is any shipping problem;

– Use tracking, delivery or signature confirmation codes. Using a delivery confirmation can help protect you if a buyer claims an item was not received;

– Make a package insurance for the value of the sale. Insurance can help protect your sale if the package is lost in transit;

– In-person purchases are considered final;

– If you are unable to resolve the problems with the seller, please make a report via our website and report what happened to Bridal Stories;

Not allowed:

– Send the item without having first received the item's and shipping value;

– Ask for the return of an item because you changed your mind;

– Ask for the return of an item purchased in-person;

– Hold Bridal Stories responsible for the final result of the dispute.
