Bridal Stories is a registered brand that offers brides the opportunity to buy and sell preloved, vintage, and outlet wedding dresses while promoting sustainability in the bridal industry.

As Bridal Stories is not the owner of the dress(es) or accessories available, it exclusively serves as an intermediary and custodian between the dress and/or accessories owner and the final customer.

As part of its activity, Bridal Stories processes personal data from various data subjects, including personal identification, tax, and contact information, ensuring respect for the best practices in personal data protection. Therefore, this Privacy Policy aims to convey to data subjects the terms of their data processing, which are handled in strict compliance with the provisions of the current legislation, notably Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 (hereinafter, GDPR).

Bridal Stories processes your personal data for purposes related to the execution of intermediary services for buying and selling wedding dresses and/or accessories; scheduling of visits to the showroom; newsletter subscriptions; ensuring the protection and security of data subjects; compliance with legal obligations; accounting, tax, and financial management; litigation management; and promotion of events.

The personal data of the respective owners is processed lawfully, so we only process it when at least one of the following situations occurs:

(i) We obtain your consent for processing in cases where it is necessary, specifically for scheduling visits to the showroom and subscribing to newsletters;

(ii) We carry out pre-contractual and contractual measures at your request, particularly in the context of purchasing wedding dresses or articles;

(iii) We fulfill legal obligations, for example, when we have to transmit your personal data to police, judicial, tax, or regulatory entities;

(iv) We protect and defend your rights;

(v) For the purposes of legitimate interests in promoting events through media channels.

5. When do we transmit your personal data

The response to requests should be provided promptly, within one month of receiving the request, unless the request is particularly complex or in exceptional circumstances. This period can be extended up to two months when necessary, considering the complexity of the request and the number of received requests.

Bridal Stories is committed to ensuring the confidentiality, protection, and security of your personal data by implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard the data against accidental or unlawful loss, destruction, or damage. Additionally, we ensure that the provided data is protected against unauthorized access or use by third parties. Additionally, it is the user's responsibility to take precautions and ensure that the information they access does not contain harmful elements.

Bridal Stories reserves the right to, at any time, make changes or updates to this privacy policy, with such eventual changes being advertised on the Bridal Stories website.
